What is a Slingshot?
Slingshots are a three-wheeled open air motorcycle manufactured by Polaris. Because of the vehicle having three wheels instead of four, it will handle differently than an automobile.
What type of transmission do you have?
We currently have automatic transmission Slingshots only.
Will I need a Texas Motorcycle License?

The state of Texas does not require you to have a motorcycle license to drive a Polaris Slingshot, but Polaris does recommend all drivers and passengers to wear an approved full-face helmet and fasten seatbelts at all time. See below “Will I need a helmet”.

Will I need to arrive early?
Our team recommends you to arrive about 10-15 minutes before your scheduled pick up time. This will ensure plenty of time to review the slingshot and complete any remaining paperwork prior to
Will I need a helmet?

In the state of Texas, you are not required to wear a helmet when riding motorcycles. However, we highly recommend all of our customers to wear provided helmets to ensure best safety practices. 

What do I need to rent a Slingshot?

Customers are required to provide a valid driver’s license (must be 21 or older), provide proof of full coverage insurance and place a $500.00 deposit. 

What happens if I return the vehicle late?

For every hour the vehicle is late, please add an additional $40.00 to your trip total. If you would like to extend your reservation, please contact our support team and we will be more than happy to make any accommodations that are possible.

What if the weather is bad or it rains?
Where am I allowed to go?

You are allowed to drive wherever you please. Our policy states you are not allowed to leave the state of Texas. 

We will provide recommended routes upon request.

Where will I pickup my rental?

We do not have a physical address but we will send you a location upon booking. Please let us know if we can accommodate you by bringing the slingshot to you. 

Cancellation Policy

ATX Slingshot Rentals has a strict no refund policy due to high demand and booking services we provide to our customers. Only rescheduling of the rental is allowed.
